Executive Advisory & Consulting
Helping leaders and organisations navigate reform, risk and change.
Executive consulting and advisory support for organisations that need experienced judgement, practical solutions and stronger capability — particularly across disability, the NDIS, housing and complex human services.
I work with Boards, chief executives and senior leaders where the answer is not immediately obvious. My role is to help define the problem, bring together the right evidence and perspectives, clarify choices and risks, and turn complexity into a practical pathway forward.
The aim is not another report that sits on a shelf. It is stronger organisations, more capable leaders, better governance and better outcomes for the people those organisations exist to serve.

How I can help
Strategy, reform & transformation
NDIS reform and implementation, organisational strategy, operating-model redesign, restructures, service redesign, transformation governance and implementation support. I help leaders interpret reform, assess exposure and opportunity, understand operational implications and turn policy or strategic change into workable organisational responses.
Governance, risk & assurance
Board renewal and succession planning, Board skills and diversity matrices, governance and committee charters, delegations, policy architecture and policy stacks, Board/CEO role clarity, governance reviews, strategic risk, quality, safeguarding, audit readiness and assurance frameworks.
Executive leadership & organisational capability
Interim and fractional executive leadership, executive mentoring, leadership-team redesign, role clarity, accountability and decision rights, operating cadence, leadership development and support to build psychologically safe, accountable and high-performing teams.
Disability, SIL, SDA & housing
Strategic advice across disability, Supported Independent Living, Specialist Disability Accommodation and the broader housing and support ecosystem, including market stewardship, service models, housing and support interfaces, project and service feasibility, participant outcomes, disability inclusion and lived-expertise-informed decision-making.
For disability and purpose-led organisations, I can also support Boards and leadership teams to strengthen meaningful representation, empowerment and genuine influence in strategy, governance, service design and reform.
Complex reviews, engagement & facilitation
Feasibility studies, organisational and service diagnostics, options analysis, market and stakeholder assessment, government and regulator engagement, consultation, submissions, strategic workshops, sector roundtables and difficult or contested conversations. The focus is on bringing evidence and diverse perspectives together to create clear choices and a practical pathway forward.
Leadership that builds capability
I believe leadership is an act of stewardship. Good consulting should not create dependence on the consultant; it should leave the organisation and its people stronger, clearer and better equipped to act.
My approach combines executive experience, governance discipline, evidence, systems thinking and lived expertise. I work to create clarity and accountability while giving leaders genuine agency to solve problems and build capability within their own organisations.
For disability organisations, empowerment and inclusion need to be visible in how decisions are made, not only in mission statements. People with disability should have genuine agency, influence and authority in strategy, governance, service design and reform. Lived experience is not separate from capability; it can strengthen judgement, identify risks that others miss and keep decisions connected to their real-world impact.
People and organisations should leave more capable, confident, connected and equipped than when we started.
Practical support through NDIS reform
For small and medium NDIS organisations, reform rarely arrives as a neat policy problem. It can affect operating models, workforce, governance, risk, housing, service design and viability at the same time. I provide focused senior support to help Boards and executives understand what is changing, decide what matters now and move from uncertainty to action.
The support can be deliberately proportionate: an independent review, a focused piece of analysis, a Board or executive workshop, short-term advisory support or additional leadership capacity through a difficult transition. Selected low-bono engagements may also be available for smaller purpose-led organisations where there is strong alignment with public value, disability empowerment and participant outcomes.
Ways we can work together
- Defined consulting or advisory projects
- Independent reviews, audits and diagnostics
- Feasibility studies and options analysis
- Interim or fractional executive leadership
- Board and CEO advisory support
- Board renewal, skills matrices and governance development
- Strategic workshops and facilitated leadership sessions
- Executive and senior management mentoring
- Roundtable design and facilitation
- Short-term support through reform, restructure or organisational transition
Engagements can be structured around the problem rather than a predetermined consulting model — from a focused advisory session through to a defined project, fractional executive assignment or longer reform program.
Speaking, facilitation & roundtables
I speak and facilitate conversations where leadership, reform, lived expertise and complex systems intersect. My aim is not simply to describe a problem, but to help audiences understand what it means for leadership and what they can do next.
I also design and facilitate roundtables that bring together government, Boards, providers, industry, community and people with lived experience around complex or contested issues. These can be used to test reform ideas, build shared understanding, surface risk, develop options and create a clearer pathway to action.
- Leading through uncertainty, noise and reform
- Choice, control and hope in changing systems
- Leadership as stewardship — building capability rather than dependence
- Lived experience as executive and governance capability
- Disability empowerment, inclusion and decision-making power
- NDIS, disability housing, SIL and SDA reform
- Governance, public value and decision-making in complex systems
- Building psychologically safe, accountable and high-performing leadership cultures
- Government, industry and cross-sector roundtable facilitation
Formats include conference keynotes, panels, Board and executive sessions, facilitated roundtables, workshops, leadership development, strategic conversations and tailored organisational sessions.
Experience grounded in delivery
I bring more than 25 years of executive and purpose-led leadership across disability, housing, human services and complex regulated environments. My experience spans chief executive and Board leadership, large operational portfolios, organisational transformation, governance and risk, government engagement, market stewardship and national reform.
I work comfortably between Boards, executives, government, regulators, providers, industry and people with lived experience — translating complexity into clear choices, practical reform and stronger organisational capability.
Let’s start with the problem you’re trying to solve
If your organisation is navigating reform, facing a complex decision, considering a redesign or simply needs experienced independent thinking, I am happy to start with a conversation about the problem you are trying to solve.
